Futuro House – Royse City, TX

In 2022, I backed a Kickstarter project for a unique table lamp, then nearly forgot about it—until my very own Wololow Lamp arrived a couple of weeks ago. Inspired by Matti Suuronen’s iconic Futuro House design, this lamp far exceeded my expectations. As both a Mid-Century Modern and space-age design enthusiast, I love its sleek aesthetic, multiple light settings, and high-quality craftsmanship. I specifically chose the orange version as a tribute to Royse City’s very own Futuro House.

With the lamp in hand, I knew it was the perfect time to visit the real thing. I made the trip out to Royse City to see this architectural gem up close—here are some photos and videos from my visit.
